The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier’s Summer Day Camp is open to girls and boys ages 5-12 years old. Our staff has created weekly integrated themes which incorporate arts and crafts, recreational and instructional swimming, and hands-on activities. Children end the week with fun Friday field trips to area attractions such as Darien Lake, Fantasy Island, Sky Zone, Safari Niagara, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, and more!
The Lockport Summer Program will be held at North Park Junior High School (160 Passaic Avenue, Lockport) from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, June 26th t0 August 25th. Children must be five years old on or before July 1st to register.
The North Tonawanda Summer Program will be held at Spruce Elementary (195 Spruce Street, North Tonawanda) from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, June 26th to August 18th. Children must be five years old on or before July 1st to register.
The YWCA Summer Day Camp runs 9 weeks (June 26-August 25, 2017) in Lockport and 8 weeks (June 26-August 18, 2017) in North Tonawanda.
Cost is $125 per week for the first child for full-time (4-5 days). Each additional full-time child is $115 per week. For part-time (1-3 days a week), cost is $90 per week. A $40 registration fee is required at the time of application.
The program includes breakfast, lunch and snack, field trip fees, and a field trip t-shirt.
Parents interested in enrolling their children will need:
- Completed Registration Packet
- Copy of each child’s birth certificate
- One week advance payment which will be applied to last week of enrollment
- $40 Registration fee
Advance registration is recommended, as space is limited!
