The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier is proud to offer scholarship programs through the Munk/Human Memorial Trust Scholarship. This scholarship will be offered to women returning to secondary education in 2018.
To be eligible, potential recipients must meet the following criteria:
1) Committee will make a selection of a non-traditional female student pursuing a higher education with ties to Niagara County. The committee will use the National Center for Educational Statistics’ definition of a non-traditional student (including, but not limited to, full-time or part-time students).
2) Students pursuing any higher-education following high school or achievement of a GED will be considered for award. This includes, but is not limited to, students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or associated degree as well as accreditation and certification programs.
3) Students residing in Niagara County or who have used the services of the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier will be given preference.
Students will be selected by the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier Munk/Human Memorial Scholarships Trust committee, which will be comprised of at least three members including the Chair.
