We are the ywcatalyst for empowerment.
We are proud and excited to announce the development of our S.T.E.M. Program at the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier. Offered free of charge to girls in grades 3-6, the goal of this program is to initiate a comfort level and interest in the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.).
The S.T.E.M. program provides a creative environment for girls to explore these major areas of study through experimentation with fun activities, fantastic field trips, and journaling their findings while creating an overall excitement for learning. The program will meet once a week after school. For more information on when and where the classes will meet, please see the information below or contact Debbie at (716) 433-6714.
Thanks to funding from the WNY Women’s Foundation, we are able to offer this program to ALL GIRLS at NO CHARGE. Registration is simple – just print and fill out the forms below.
